Trojans third in Region
The Trojans defeated the Miners from Wilton/Wing 65-47 in the third place game of the Region 5 Tournament this past week. The Bismarck Shiloh Christian Skyhawks slipped past the Trojans 49-44 in the Region 5 semifinal game.
TLMM bests Underwood to advance
Laframboise got the Trojans on the score board first with a triple from the left wing but Parker Christensen gave the Comets the lead 6-3 after a couple of put-backs and a pair of free throws.
Comets, Miners advance to title game
Garrison forged a balanced scoring attack in Friday’s semifinal game against Wilton-Wing, but it wasn’t enough to combat the one-woman scoring machine in Lauren Koski as Wilton-Wing was able to hold off the Troopers 51-47 to advance to the District 10 title game Saturday night in Underwood.
Christenson leads the Comets in ‘Cat drubbing
The Comet boys split on the hard court this week, winning the game that matters in the District 10 numbers game by knocking off the home-standing Center-Stanton Wildcats 74-35.
