Forty years, 400 guests and a sombrero
A veterinarian since he was 26, twenty of them in McClusky, was cause for a 40-year-celebration. At his semi-retirement party on July 10, 400 guests showed up to help him celebrate.

On a warm Monday afternoon, July 13, Sheridan County 4-H held their Achievement Day and community appreciation supper and raffle.

Annual meeting airs old water and new water issues
From Bryce Fischer’s report from Rath and Mehrer, CPA firm, through the unanimous re-election of Lynn Oberg and Clifton Dockter to the McLean and Sheridan Board of Directors, respectively, the McLean Sheridan Water District was neatly wrapped up in an hour, with all business completed.
Roping for a cure in the park
Forty would-be cowboys and cowgirls tried their hand at roping in the McClusky city park during the Midsummer Fest.
Cowboy wins over judges at kiddie parade
The children came on foot, by two wheels and four, and even one by horse drawn carts. The participants in the annual kiddie parade put on a grand show for this year’s midsummer fest.
Full house at McClusky USDA Community Conference
McClusky Job Development President and Mayor Roberta Hunt opened the USDA meeting with a welcome to USDA and the partner organization gathered to give information and direction to the gathered county representatives and community leaders.
From Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28 the McClusky Merchants Association will sponsor Midsummer events of all types for visitors and residents to enjoy.
