Trojan EBB action with Troopers
The Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky Trojans played against Garrison Troopers on April 5. The Trojans won one, lost one.
Junior High Boys win Max Tournament
Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky junior high boys basketball team played in the tournament held in Max March 9 and 10 with teams from District 10, along with White Shield and Burke County.
Moose license numbers get a boost
McLean County hunters will have better odds at snagging a moose license for this year’s hunting season as an additional 55 local licenses are being added to this year’s lottery.
Laframboise top Region 5 Senior
Seth Laframboise, the TL-M-M Trojans 6’ 2” forward, received the 2018 Region 5 Senior Athlete of the Year this past week at the Region 5 Tournament.
Trojans 2018 District 10 runners up
The Wilton/Wing Miners, 61-55, defeated the Trojans, in the District 10 title game in what Miners coach Brad Brekke pegged as a “battle to the very end. Neither team was going to give up.”
Trojans trip Wolves, fall to Warriors
The boys finished up their regular season with a 67-56 win over the Kidder County Wolves Saturday at the Wolf den. Friday night the Standing Rock Warriors defeated the Trojans on the Trojans home court 68-52.
Jacobs pours in 50
Trapper Jacobs tallied 50 points for a new school record in a Trojans 81-73 win over the New Town Eagles in New Town Feb. 6.
Trojans split with Miners
The Wilton/Wing Miners were in town for a District 10 double header Tuesday night.
Hoops, hoops and more hoops
The Trojans played just seven games this past week, four games for the boys and three for the girls. The boys won three of their games but the girls were not as fortunate as they lost all three games.
Trojans win one of two
The Underwood Comets were in town Tuesday night for a District 10 double header game in which the Trojans won the boys game 62-50 and the Comets won the girls game 54-25.
