FARGO — Football season in North Dakota is officially at an end, the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison Aggies ran the table and finished their season 13-0 following their 11B State Title win over the Central Cass Squirrels last Friday in Fargo 22-20. Entering the contest with a pristine 12-0 record, the Aggies were set to face their toughest challenge of the year under the brightest lights in North Dakota football: the Fargodome. “This feeling was a dream come true,” Aggies offensive/defensive lineman Jamison Rime said. “When we walked into the Fargodome, it just felt surreal.” Despite the high running nerves leading up to such a large game, the Aggies players came out and did what they do best and played a hard-nosed smashmouth brand of football.
