Lady Troopers remain undefeated

Garrison hosted Washburn in a Region 5 game Monday night.
Sweet Cedar Perkins was first to get the Troopers on the board two minutes in with a layup, then turned around and dropped a three-point shot a minute later. Madelin Hurt snuck in a quick layup soon after.
Washburn was taking shots, but they couldn't get them to drop in.
Perkins lobbed in another three, followed by Katie Zook for three. These girls were dropping threes like it was their job.
Washburn was struggling to get on the board at all. The score at the end of the first quarter was 16-0.
Perkins opened the second quarter with another three-pointer followed by two three-point shots by Zook.
With 4:40 minutes left in the half, Washburn finally got on the board.
But the Lady Troopers were able to score 29 in the third, bringing the score to a 34-point lead over Washburn. Going into halftime, the score is Garrison 45, Washburn 11.
