Area youth wrestlers grapple with the best at State Tourney
Both the McLean County Spartans and White Shield Warriors wrestled at the USA wrestling ND State Tournament this weekend in Bismarck.
The girls wrestled Friday afternoon, and the boys wrestled on Saturday.
“We didn't get many placers this past weekend. But they did some wins and put their best effort into not losing,” Warriors Head Coach Shannon Hodges said. “Most had performed some techniques into their moves and had success. So, that is their victory in improvement. I am proud of their effort in this past weekend.”
