For the first time in several years, Max fielded a Little League team and that is good news for area baseball.

In a game between what will hopefully be future teammates, the Titans got an early lead and held on for a 12-0 win. Zac Seidler made his first start of the year, going 4 1/3 innings before tiring. Seidler allowed only 1 hit, struck out 12, but walked 5.

Ty Wolken closed out the game by retiring the last two hitters. Devon Crawford drove in three runs for the Titans.

The Titans traveled to Berthold for a Pee Wee game and a Little League doubleheader on the 18th. The Pee Wees came out smoking, scoring four runs in the first inning. The Bombers answered with three in the 2nd but the Titans got two of those back in the 3rd.

But they couldn’t hold that lead as Berthold tied the game in the 4th. A couple extra base hits in the 5th inning by the three and four hitters pushed across the winning run for the Bombers in their 7-6 walk-off win.
