Garrison qualifies archers for nationals

The Garrison Archers had a fantastic weekend at state by qualifying 11 shooters for the All-State shoot off.
Garrison NASP Head Coach Donald Franklin said the archers did, “Fantastic! The kids really showed up this weekend.”
He continued, “We have seen some great competition this year, and it shows the work and dedication these kids have for the sport.”
There were 26 new personal bests from the archers in the Bullseye Divisions.
“Kez Steele and Brooklyn smith also qualified individually. We had two elementary archers (Zoe Baker, Lincoln Kolden) make the top ten in individual,” Franklin said.
In total, Zoe Baker, Lincoln Kolden, Paisely Beyer, Hayden Skraba, McKesden Steele, Austin Thelen and Fisher Genre all ended up shooting well enough to make the All-State Team. Steele was selected as the team captain for the middle school All-State Team because he scored the highest of all qualifiers
