Garrison softball takes home a win
The Garrison Parks and Rec. softball teams are playing games and having fun.
The 10 and Under team won their game versus Beulah on Monday.
“The 8 and Under team played well too,” softball head coach Jacque Schaible said. ‘But they don’t keep score for that age group.”
Beulah had three 12-year-olds on their team, and Garrison had the Melby twins who are newly 11 that all played on the 10 and Under teams.
“The ump said our pitchers have a lot of potential. It’s an exciting time. Most of our (players) are ages eight through 10, so it’s fun to see their growth,” Schaible said. “Every girl made contact with the ball.”
