The Titan Pee Wees bounced back from a disappointing walk-off loss to come away with a nail-biting win against Wilton in the first of last week's games.

A 1-run Wilton lead was erased in a 4-run fourth inning, highlighted by back to back triples by Bear Larson and Trevor Wolken that knocked in what turned out to be the tying and game winning runs.

Wilton made a comeback in the 5th inning, scoring twice and had the tying run on third with 1 out. A strikeout and grounder to first stranded the runner and the Titans held on for the 5-4 win.

In the Little League game, Wilton jumped out to an early lead in the 1st inning after a walk and an RBI double against Titan starter Bennet Kamp, the first earned run he had allowed this season. He managed to get out of the inning with no further damage, leaving it up to his teammates to answer.

And the answer was a 5-run inning highlighted by Ty Wolken's 2-run home run. Kamp then settled in, pounding the strike zone over the next 2 innings and had a string of 6 consecutive strikeouts before an infield pop-up ended the streak.
