The Lady Troopers took to their home course on Monday for the Region 4 tournament.

Being at home sure seemed to have given the golfers an extra boost in confidence as their scores surely prove.

Mackenzie Jacobson came in with an 89 to tie Breanna Deaver, from Rugby, for the first place title. At this point in the season that tie is then broken by shoot-out to add another level of pressure to the competing golfers.

Mackenzie bested Breanna by taking a birdie on Hole 1 while Breanna finished second by taking a par. Jocelyn Braunberger, from Northern Lights claimed third with a 90.

The Troopers own Ally Behles and Kelsea McDowell came in 4th and 5th respectively both shooting personal lows of 91 and 95 which also qualified them for state individually. McKenzie Ruhland struggled on the front nine but was able to turn things around and cut 10 strokes on her back nine to bring her total to 120. Courtney Ruhland had a rough day scoring a total of 132.
