The Garrison Lady Troopers continue their winning ways. The team picked up a pair of victories this past week to stretch their perfect record to 10-0.

Jan. 9, the girls rolled past Center-Stanton 67-47, in a District 10 tilt. The game was in Center. This past Saturday, the Lady T’s took their show on the road to Des Lacs-Burlington, coming away with a 49-31 victory, thanks to a 20-3 scoring differential in the third quarter.

Coach Sandra Essler talked about the DLB game: "We were flat the first half. In the second half the team came out focused and executed really well."

The team can’t rest on its past success. Three big games are on the horizon – two district contests this week, and next week, state ranked Parshall.

Essler said the coaching staff likes how the team is performing.

"We are pleased how the team is responding to different defenses, making adjustments as the game progresses," she said. "Team play, balanced scoring and positive production from our bench were key this past week."
