Lady Troopers open season at Firestorm Invitational
The Lady Troopers golf team opened its 2026 fall season Aug. 3 and wasted little time getting into competition, traveling to Tioga Golf and Country Club four days later for the Firestorm Invitational.
Garrison was represented by freshman Piper Ziemann and junior Miley Everett in the 18-hole event, which featured nine teams and was played under very warm conditions.
Despite the challenging weather, Ziemann turned in a strong performance, finishing eighth overall. Her round was highlighted by an eagle on the fifth hole, helping her secure a top-10 finish against a competitive field.
