Majeres, Klein place at Hazen invitational

Two runners from Garrison took high marks at an invite only meet in Hazen Saturday. August Majeres took fifth place in 800 meter dash and Karli Klein took first place in 100m Hurdles and second place in 300m Hurdles.
Boys
Finnigan Smedstad took 24th place and Lithan Concepcion took 36th place in the 100 meter. Smedstad and Concepcion also took 18th and 41st respectively – with Gavin Ruud taking 24th – in the 200 meter, while Smedstad took 18th, Aidan Ermer 19th, Ruud 21st and Concepcion 26th in the 400 meter. Majeres placed fifth in the 800 meter dash and also took eighth place – with Ermer taking 29th – in the 1600 meter. Ermer also took 13th in the 300m hurdles while Ruud took 22nd and 13th in the long jump and triple jump, respectively.
Girls
Abby Heinzen and Morgan Torr took 23rd and 25th place, respectively in the 100 meter. Heinzen and Torr also took– 15th and 27th – in the 200 meter, while Torr took 13th in the 400 meter. In the 800 meter, Klein took 11th, Jetah Belzer 16th and Coryssa Behles 17th.
