More changes to sports attendance levels

BY TYSON SMEDSTAD

Garrison Superintendent Nick Klemisch said there have been changes to the attendance levels at junior high and high school games.
At the Garrison School Board meeting on Dec. 15, it was discussed that the North Dakota High School Athletics Association is now allowing 150 fans in the gym at one time. It will be 100 tickets for home fans, and 50 for visiting fans.
Trooper players will receive four tickets per family. Spectators may only watch the game their child is participating in then leave the building.
Since this is a regional guideline, most away games will follow the same rules, but any school outside the region may have different rules and different attendance levels set by their school.
Masks are still required per the Governor’s executive order and the Garrison School Board.
All home games will be streamed live on YouTube and will start five minutes before the start time.
