New facility hopes to lure in customers
Fish cleaning station open for year-round anglers

Every year, BLFG discusses an array of potential projects that gear towards the betterment of Garrison living. Last year they decided on a new fish cleaning station.
With 75 percent of the funds coming from the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, Shannon Jeffers along with other members of the BLFG and GAIA wanted to take advantage of the opportunity. “It seemed crazy not to do something when you have that kind of funding,” Jeffers said. The renovations began the beginning of August, 2020 and opened to the public the beginning of March. The 24 by 16-foot building which cost $160,000 is located west of the Cenex in Garrison on the south side of ND Highway 37.
