One win, one loss for Troop boys

Troopers bite the Bulldogs
It was close, but the Troopers managed a win against Flasher on Friday. Final score was Garrison 53, Flasher 52.
“It was a good weekend of basketball,” Head Coach Justin Folk said. “Friday’s game was a big win against a region opponent.”
The Troopers came on hot outscoring the Bulldogs 17 to 11 in the first quarter, and went into halftime six points ahead.
Jack Bright had an impressive game with 19 total points scored, (three field goals, three free throws and four three-point shots).
Much of the same in the second half with Garrison going on to win 53 to 52.
 
Bison barely top the Troop
Evenly matched with 11 points each in the first quarter, the game against Hazen seemed like it would come down to the wire, and it did, final score was Garrison 48, Hazen 52.
“(Saturday) we came out flat and didn’t really let ourselves get into a rhythm,” Folk said. “We had more turnovers against Hazen than the two other games combined.”
He added “That being said having 29 turnovers and still having a chance at a win against a good team is extremely encouraging.”
Going into half time Garrison was at 18,
