Pee Wee Baseball Wrap-Up: The Heart of Summer

This isn’t the World Series, they’re only ten.
But to them? This is the World Series. Because they’re only ten once.
The Turtle Lake Tournament marked the final chapter of a summer to remember. It was the last early morning practice, the last scramble for a glove, and the last time this group of 8- to 10-year-olds took the field together. And they didn’t just play, they won, taking home the championship in both tournaments they entered.
They found their rhythm, cracked bats, and made plays that would make a big-leaguer pause. First home runs were hit. Game-saving catches were made. But more than anything, they showed grit by coming back from behind, lifting each other up, and celebrating every moment, from the dugout to the post-game pool party dubbed the Titan Takeover.
