Rustad, Seidler head to state golf tournament
The Troopers boys golf team played in the Class B Boys Region 5 and 6 last Tuesday. All six varsity team members played in the tournament.
Regional Tournament
The regional tournament was held in Medora at the beautiful Bully Pulpit Golf Course.
“Landon (Rustad) and Brody (Seidler) played well,” Troopers golf coach Mark Harris said. “Landon hit some key shots late in the round that pushed him to 25th place overall.”
Seidler finished in 33rd place out of 132 with a score of 87 on the par 72 course.
“Anthony (Belzer) struggled missing out (on qualifying for the state tournament) by one shot. Jaxson (Tesch) and Eli (Ruud) played pretty well also,” Harris said.
The team placed tenth out of 25 with a score of 368 (+80).
