Talbott signs with Jimmies
Max senior Maycie Talbott signed her letter of intent to attend the University of Jamestown to continue her basketball career post high school.
Early years
Talbott grew up and Max and has played basketball since elementary school.
“I started playing basketball when I was in the third grade, with Y-league basketball,” Talbott said. “But before this I was highly involved in basketball as my two older brothers both played, and my parents also played in high school.”
Max School
She’s played for Max School, a co-op with Garrison and currently co-ops with South Prairie
“My favorite memory from throughout my whole basketball career was the first time we made it to state,” Talbott said. “We were the underdogs in the tournament and got to play the number one seed (Thompson) in the semi-finals. We pulled off a win, and it was such a great experience. Throughout the whole first state, I created so many new memories and it was an amazing experience overall.”
