The Homecoming Megabowl

By: TYSON SMEDSTAD ZIEMANN
It was a chilly 34 degrees at kick-off of the Garrison homecoming football game and the fight for the coveted Megabowl Trophy continues.
Washburn was the first on the board with 32 seconds left in the first quarter scoring a touchdown and two-point conversion. Early in the game Dawson Wimer caught an interception which started the Trooper’s 95 yard scoring drive. Tyler Zook scored on that drive followed by a successful two-point conversion by Jacob Mautz. Washburn scored again in the second quarter, that had us going into half time with a score of 16-8.
