The Prairie Scramble winners are...
Garrison Golf Course hosted its biggest tournament of the summer this weekend.
The Men’s Prairie Scramble hosted 24 teams, 120 golfers, to the annual members-only tournament.
Just like the past few years it was hotter than ever, topping almost 100 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday.
“It went pretty well,” Prairie Scramble organizer Garrett Krueger said. “120 golfers tried to beat the heat by moving start time up a bit to 8:30 a.m. each morning and having extra water around the course.”
In a strange turn of events from the past few years, there were no playoffs for the first four-place teams.
For years previously, there have been playoffs for the tops spots on the leader board going into day two, and the end of regular play.
