Titans stay on track

Last Thursday, the Titans traveled all the way down to Hettinger for a two game series. Game 1 ended in a 4-1 score in Garrison’s favor. The game featured some quality pitching from both Jack Bright (5.2 innings, 1 earned run and 13 strikeouts) and Bennett Kamp (1.3 innings
and 0 earned runs). Titan’s batters were only able to get four runs across the board to help their pitchers’ cause but that proved to be all the run support required in game one. Standout hitting performances in this game included a 2-4 showing from Bright including 3 RBI’s, and a 3-4 performance from Devon Crawford. Game two was a less promising showing from the Titans; the game ended in a final score of 19-9 and included a rough showing on defense. With five errors committed in this game, this did not look like the typically sound Titans defense fans had come to expect.
