Titans take pair from Tioga

Andrew Haugen and Reid Groninger teamed up this past Thursday to give the rapidly improving Garrison-Max-Central McLean Titans American Legion baseball team another pair of wins.
The Titans, now 6-5 and sporting a 6 - 1 mark in region play, handled Tioga by scores of 10-6 and 12-10.
The Titan bats are coming alive. In the opener, the boys in blue banged out nine hits, led by Groninger who was 2-4. Haugen helped himself, going 1-2 with an RBI. One of the keys to the game came off the bat of Dylan Finken who hit a key double, plating two in the pivotal fifth inning. Brookes Reinholt was 2-4 with an RBI for the Titans.
The Titans roughed up Tioga pitchers for nine more hits in the nightcap. Leading the way was Ramsey Crawford who was 3-4, including a double. Ramsey banged in four runs.
