Titans victims of tough losses

Titans victims of tough losses

The Garrison-Max-Central McLean Titans are getting the hitting and the pitching – now if those two elements of the game could come together, maybe, just maybe, it will start showing up in the win column.
The Titans opened the season 1-4 prior to this past week’s games. Co-Coach Jake Hultberg lamented the early season struggle.
“We’ve had some tough losses so far this season, and they were due to errors in pretty routine plays,” Hultberg explained. “We have to be able to make the easy throw and keep the base runners to a minimum. When we give them those free plays, they create more opportunities to have a big inning or score a run they should not have had in the first place.”
Hultberg said it’s all about players staying focused and keeping their heads in the game.
