Trooper girls continue rolling to a 7-2 record
The Garrison Troopers girls basketball team put together an impressive two-game stretch to close out the holiday break, leaning on defensive consistency and balanced scoring to secure a pair of convincing wins against quality opponents.
Garrison opened the week on Tuesday, Dec. 30, with a 45–33 victory over Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood at the Minot Auditorium.
The Troopers weathered a slow offensive start but steadily took control as the game progressed, using defensive pressure to swing momentum and create high-percentage scoring opportunities.
Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood jumped out early, holding Garrison to just three points in the opening quarter while building a 10–3 advantage.
The Troopers began to settle in during the second period, cutting into the deficit behind improved ball movement and defensive rebounding.
