By STU MERRY

Chalk up another win for the Garrison Lady Troopers.

Tuesday, Dec. 29, girls picked up a 34-point victory over a young New Town Eagles squad.

The win came on the power of Ellie Gehring. The 5’ 5" junior guard set a school record for three-pointers, draining seven.

Ellie scored early and often en -route to pouring in 27 points. She swished three treys in the first quarter, one more in the second, two in the third and one late in the fourth.

The seven eclipses six threes. The record was held by teammate Taylor Kamp in 2013-14, and Kari Wilcox who scored her six in 2000.
