Trooper netters are struggling

Struggles continue for the young Garrison-Max Troopers volleyball team.
This past weekend, the team came up short at the Washburn tournament, only earning a split in sets with Berthold.
This past Thursday, hard luck fell on the ladies, this time in New Town as the Eagles prevailed 3-2 in a five-set marathon.
Reflecting on the Washburn tourney, Coach Sarah Lee lamented that with only nine girls, it was a tough day.
The Troopers came in seeded fourth in pool play. First up was Washburn.
“When looking at stats, we handed them the game with numerous hitting errors and serving errors,” she said.
She noted there was a total of 20 errors in hitting and serving alone.
