Troopers prepare for busy stretch after Flasher loss
The Garrison Troopers will look to turn the page after dropping three volleyball matches in seven days.
Garrison lost 3-0 at New Salem-Almont on Tuesday, Sept. 22, then returned home Thursday, Sept. 24, for a 3-0 loss to Flasher. The Troopers closed the stretch Monday, Sept. 28, with a 3-1 home loss to Glenburn.
The Flasher match came against one of the leaders in Region 4 and District 8. In the standings provided, Flasher was 15-2 overall, 7-0 in region play and 5-0 in the district. Central McLean also stood at 15-2 overall and 5-0 in District 8.
Garrison took a set from Glenburn after being swept in its previous two matches, but the Troopers could not complete the comeback. With those three contests behind them, they face another full week of competition that includes two district matches and a tournament.
