Troopers take on Star City
Lady Troopers played in the Velva Invitational at Star City Golf Course.
Freshman Piper Ziemann started her round off strong shooting par on her first two holes.
Ziemann toggled back and forth between third, fourth, fifth place throughout her round until a double-bogey on hole 16, landed her in a sixth-place finish.
After sophomore Miley Everett struggled in last week’s round, she improved her game this week with a 20-stroke improvement.
