Troopers tame Cougars and Royals for four win week
GARRISON — This past Tuesday the Garrison Troopers played host to the Central McLean Cougars for a double-header – with both contests ending in Garrison victories, 14-2 and 11-4 respectively.
Game one saw CM’s Keaton Rust facing off against Garrison’s Matt “Matty J” Jochim.
Jochim entirely overwhelmed the Cougars’ lineup from the game’s first pitch, settling in and throwing five innings of two-run baseball while striking out five.
