Troopers topple Miners
On the evening of Jan. 19, the Garrison Troopers boy’s basketball squad loaded up the buses to make the trek down U.S Highway 83 to take on the Wilton-Wing Miners in a clash between teams ranked ninth and tenth respectively in the State Class B poll. And while the weather might have been frigid outside, inside the Miner’s home gymnasium the action was hot and heavy and two District 6 heavyweights engaged in an epic struggle of which only one could emerge victorious.
