Troopers tumble at districts

There will be no district championship for the Garrison-Max Troopers volleyball team.
Coming in as the top seed in the district, the Troopers received a first round bye, taking on the winner of the play-in game between Underwood and Wilton-Wing Tuesday night.
The Troopers split with the Miners during the season, losing 3-1 Sept. 23, but rebounding to take the Miners 3-0 Oct. 18.
But this night belonged to the Miners. Wilton-Wing was on fire, while the Troopers picked a bad time to go flat. Wilton-Wing won, 3-1 and will advanc
