Troopers use big second half to upend LHMB
Garrison took the lead for good during the third quarter and then held on for a 64-58 victory over Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, Feb. 10, in Garrison. The game was rescheduled from its original date of Dec. 18, 2025, due to a blizzard.
The Troopers improved to 8-9 on the season, while LHMB, which won eight of its previous nine games coming in, had its four-game winning streak snapped and fell to 10-6 on the year.
The first half went back and forth, featuring four ties and eight lead changes, and neither team could open up more than a three-point advantage at any time over the first two quarters. Grady Crawford and A.J. Fuller each scored eight points to make up all of Garrison’s scoring in the first quarter as the Troopers held a 16-15 edge at the end of the frame. The lead changed hands four times over the first two and a half minutes of the second quarter before Justin Bosch hit a jumper for LHMB to deadlock the score at 22-22 with 5:30 left in the period.
