Troopers/Royals finish indoor season
Both the Garrison Troopers and South Prairie/Max Royals competed in their last indoor meet of the season on Friday at the Minot State University Dome.
“I was very pleased with our results at the CNDC Indoor this year,” Trooper head coach Jason Ermer said. “I think everyone improved on their times and distances from last year, so we are starting from a better place than we were this time last year. That should translate into early personal records once we hit the outdoor season this week.”
The top finishers for the Troopers were hurdler Aidan Ermer, who placed second in the 55-meter hurdles and Kyler Schreiner, whoplaced third in the triple jump.
Royal freshman David Eberle took third in the 55-meter dash and set a new personal record at 6.54 seconds.
The Troopers and Royals competed on Tuesday at Hazen. Results will be in next week’s McLean County Independent.
