Undefeated, and it feels so good

Lady Troopers currently 9-0

Nine games in and the Lady Troopers are still undefeated.
"Being undefeated and ranked in the state is exciting for our program,” said the Lady Troopers' head coach Matt Chase. “The girls deserve recognition because they’re a special group of kids that work so hard and have definitely earned this.”
The team has proved their prowess on the court winning every game by 10 or more points, and usually much, much more.
They have done so well that they are currently ranked ninth in North Dakota for Class B schools, which hasn't happened in over 20 years.
"What I love even more about being ranked, is they (the team) aren’t settling for number nine. They want to be the best and we all have the same goal: to get to a state tournament," Chase said. "If we continue to execute our game plan and keep working to improve on the little things in practice, that goal is extremely achievable. I hope this becomes the standard for Garrison Girls Basketball."

Tough games coming up
"We have a really tough week ahead of us with Central McLean (on Jan. 11) and Kenmare (on Jan. 13). Both are really good teams," Chase said. "Central McLean is going to be an important game as far as seeding goes for the region tourney. The girls and I have been preparing for this one, so hopefully, we’re ready to go."
