Volleyball on a hot pink streak

It was another two game week for the Lady Troopers.
It’s a family affair against the Cardinals
Troopers not only won, they ran away with it once again.
The Lagge sisters came out on top in their respective positions. Sarah had 31 assists, while Paige led with 21 digs.
Not to be outdone, the Klein sisters contributed also. Karli led with nine kills and three blocks and Kaitlyn also had nine kills and seven aces.
The Troopers came out a bit flat in the first set by not being as aggressive as they should’ve been. “Nedrose is a program on the rise. They’re a new school with a driven coach and they’re going to establish themselves as a solid program. We knew their improvement from last season was great, we just didn’t know how great,” said coach Josh Wastvedt.
After the first set, the girls came back composed and confident and found their groove. They took the next three sets with an adaptable defense and balanced offense.
“These girls were tough to stop,” Wastvedt said.
