Warriors on way to regionals

MANDAREE — White Shield’s varsity boys basketball team has officially won District 15 following two solid wins against District opponents Alexander and Trenton at the District 15 Tournament in Mandaree Feb. 24-25 and 27.
Following a first round bye, as they’d secured the number one seed with their fantastic 10-7 regular season record, the Warriors kicked off their tournament action with a second round meeting against Alexander.
Quickly White Shield pulled ahead with a lead, stretching it out to eight points by the close of quarter one and the group didn’t take their foot off the gas pedal until the game’s final buzzer had sounded.
