The Titans traveled to Wilton for games June 26 and came away with a split. The Pee Wees put two runs on the board in the first inning but Wilton answered with three of their own to take a lead that got bigger as the Titan defense fell apart. A 10-run 2nd inning basically put the game away for the Miners and they cruised to a 20-7 win.

From oh no to no-no

After watching a defensive effort that left a lot of folks shaking their heads, the Titan Little Leaguers put together a good game, highlighted by Clay Bendickson's no-hitter. Bendickson scored the only run he needed after reaching on an error in the first inning, a Ty Wolken triple drove in the game's first run. The Titans blew the game open with a 7-run second inning followed by an 8-run third.

Bendickson allowed only one base runner, a second inning walk, and he struck out eight while consistently pounding the strike zone. The Titan defense played an error-free game, making some plays that kept the no-hitter alive.
