Young Titans sweep in Underwood

Young Titans sweep in Underwood

The Titan Pee Wee team scored 11 runs in the first inning July 2 in Underwood and never looked back on its way to a 16-2 win.
Fourteen players scored for the Titans as they beat a path around the bases. Devon Crawford started on the mound but ran into some control problems, giving up a couple runs before Clay Bendickson came on in relief to put out the fire. Offensively, eight players had RBIs with the big hit a bases loaded double by Dawson Wimer that drove in three.
The second game was a rematch between two teams that a week earlier had played a one-run game, ended by a Titan walk-off double. In this game, it looked like the visitors might blow the game open early when they scored four runs in the first inning. But Underwood took advantage of six errors after two outs to score four to tie the game.
