After a break for the holiday, the Titans Pee Wee team was back in action but the 11-day break for the 4th of July didn’t do the Titans any favors as the team looked rusty and flat in the game against the visiting Turtle Lake squad.
Single runs by the Titans in each of the first three innings left the game knotted at three, settling nothing.
In the 4th the Titans shook off the rust, blowing up for six runs to take control of the game and the team went on to a 9-4 win.
Next on the schedule was a road trip to Wilton for the last regular season game. The Titans looked sharp right out of the gate scoring four runs in the first highlighted by a Matt Jochim triple and a Treyson Iglehart home run.
The Titans put up crooked numbers in each of the next three innings as they broke out the Dinger Sticks.
Home runs by Jochim, another Iglehart shot, and round-trippers by Finn Smedstad, Will Ohlenkamp, and Brody Seidler pushed the team to a 17-2 win, their 10th of the season.
