Cougars in battle for Region six baseball title
Tuesday morning, Central McLean baseball coach Alex Jangula wasn’t ready to start celebrating and packing for state yet, despite having notched three straight wins on their way to Tuesday’s Region 6 championship game with Surrey.

Underwood senior Nick Dammen currently has the top distance for the Class B discus competition, having won the event at the Washburn Invitational Saturday with his throw of 158-1.
Cougar fast pitchers stun Beulah
The Central McLean Cougars fast-pitch softball team split in action on the softball field this past week, pummeling Heart River by the score of 17-4 before falling to Beulah Thursday night.
Warriors stop Trojans
The Warriors from Standing Rock defeated the Trojans 71-48 in region 5 quarter final action Monday afternoon at Legacy High School in Bismarck.
Region 5 runners up
The Trojans cut the Skyhawks’ lead to one point, 60-59, with 13 seconds left in the Region 5 championship game.
Trojans third in District 10
Sellon, Tatum Fylling and Trista Crimmins were placed on the 2016 District 10 All District Team.
Trojans and Miners tangle
The Wilton/Wing Miners were in town for a District 10 double header game Tuesday night and the double header saw the Trojans winning the girls game 50-34 and the Miners winning the boys game 42-41.

The Trojans played seven games this past week and won five and lost two.

The Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky Trojans got five games in this past week. Tuesday night the Bismarck Shiloh Christian Skyhawks outlasted the Trojans in a girls game 34-33.
