A White Shield coronation
Hunter Felix and Kennedy Esquibel were named Homecoming King and Queen for White Shield last Friday night during halftime of the White Shield vs. New Town game. Other members of the homecoming court were Riley Esquibel and Owen Hosie for king and Image Everett and Chloe Bearstail-Fox for queen. (James C. Falcon)
Garrison city council approves budget for 2023
GARRISON – After making some fine-tuning, the 2023 budget for the City of Garrison has been whittled down so it will ask for 62.77 mills instead of 66.66 mills, a difference of $18,000.
Honking for homecoming
Students from Garrison High School dressed in camouflage blew duck calls during the Garrison Homecoming Parade, held last Thursday before the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison's football game against the Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke County Honkers.
