A time to write

MAX — It’s a long way from Los Angeles, a little over 1,600 miles, but Julie McElwain has made it work for her.
Residing in her hometown of Max over the past two and a half years, McElwain has grown re-accustomed to small town life after living in California for about 30 years. And she’s been able to continue writing mystery novels.
Ripples in Time, the sixth novel in her series of mysteries about Kendra Donovan, a 20-something FBI agent who finds herself transported from the present day to early 19th century England, was published on Feb. 28.
