Ag show Feb. 5 in Garrison

'Voice of Rural America' is guest speaker

Featured guest speaker for the 20th annual McLean County Ag Show will be Trent Loos, a nationally acclaimed radio personality.

Loos, dubbed the "Voice of Rural America," promotes agriculture on behalf of the nation's crop and livestock producers. The final attraction of the day, Loos will give his presentation at 3:30 p.m.

The day's events will take place in the Garrison High School gym and will begin when the exhibit hall opens at 10 a.m. The exhibit hall will include nearly 50 vendor booths. (See special tab in this week's paper for vendor list). Coffee will be served in the gym, courtesy of the school's FCS (Family and Consumer Science) program.

McLean County Ag Improvement Association annual elections will begin at 10:30.

"Corn Confusion" – Hybrid Selection Tips for Central North Dakota, is slated for 11 a.m. The presentation is by Cameron Bright, a sales rep for Great Northern Ag, and Irene Graves, McLean County extension agent.
