Aggies prepare for title defense
It has been a long time since Velva High School has entered a season under the leadership of a new head coach for football.
The last time a new Aggies coach was named, gas cost an average of $1.34 across the country and the internet was a fresh idea.
Fast forward 33 years, and through 10 state titles, and long-time coach Larry Sandy has officially handed the reins of the storied Aggies program to the heir apparent: Matt Weidler.
