Ambulance Service heads to school

Garrison High School students are receiving some hands on training in first aid.
Staff with the Garrison-Max Ambulance Service are wrapping up training in CPR and use of an AED.
The ambulance service has eight American Heart Association trained CPR instructors.
"With the team working together we were able to train CPR and AED." said Tara Cooper, ambulance service director.
The classes were offered to all students at Garrison High School, grades 7-12.
Ambulance service personnel began training two weeks ago. Garrison High instructor Jason Olson allowed ambulance staff to utilize his classroom area, the gym, for the classes.
Cooper said, "with the help and flexibility of the GHS staff we were able to pull this off."
