Barking up the right tree

Best friends, Bella Wimer (Kindergarten) and Raelynn Maki (1st grade), are showing their love for animals in a very helpful way. These girls, with help from their moms of course, are collecting items from the Souris Valley Animal Shelter’s Need List to be donated.
Since the girls can’t adopt all of the animals, they want to help them in any other way they can.
Bella’s mom, Leann Wimer, said, "This is a good way for the girls to learn the importance of taking care of others and
animals."
The love for animals these little girls have is no exaggeration. Bella has two dogs ("smelly" Gus and Gretta) and a "nice" cat named Kota. Raelynn has two cats (Smokey and Mcbuter) and a dog, Coco. Raelynn got Mcbuter for her 3rd birthday and has been attached ever since.
"They are nice pets, we love them," Bella said with a huge smile on her face.
