Bond election meeting Monday

A pitch was made Tuesday evening to get as many people as possible to attend a meeting to launch the marketing of a $9 million school bond election.
Garrison school administration and board members promoted the meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m. Invitations were mailed to about 30 people (at the expense of a donor) and the public is invited to attend, too. The meeting will be in the high school library and is expected to not last more than one hour.
The meeting is planned to provide information about the bond election and to develop strategies for a successful bond election.
Board member Janis Sloka said, “We want to make sure that people know it’s an open meeting.”
