A familiar face behind Kyle's Katering

GARRISON – It will be business as usual at Kyle’s Katering, albeit under a new name and new ownership, explained longtime employee Lenore Schlichting. Schlichting and her husband Paul purchased the business and as of Oct. 1, Lenore’s Outdoors and Catering launched from the same premises on the Highway 37 frontage road. “Basically, everything’s going to stay just like it was. Everybody’s staying on that worked here,” Schlichting said as she sat in her office last Saturday. Outside, in the alley behind the business, the last remnants of an auction were taking place. The business’ chuckwagon was there – just like it always is at auctions and other events in the community – serving up a menu including burgers and taco in a bag.
